Beta Dangal or the House of the Virgins, round, small and dark where are stored sistrum, sacred books, a painting of St. George and the Virgin with the Child. Bete Dangal is an important contact between the two worlds of the Ethiopian Christians and the Roman Empire. The chapel is dedicated to the virgin-martyrs massacred by the emperor Julian in mid-fourth century in Turkey. -
